In introduction, two words... FINALLY and THANK YOU!

FINALLY! Because after many years of searching, the entire mini comic by brothers Paul and Gaëtan BRIZZI is gathered!

And THANK YOU! Because it is Paul and Gaëtan BRIZZI, the creators of the comic strip personally who allowed this miracle by sending us the scans of the missing episodes, chapters two and three.

This line of toys is very popular today for collectors across the whole world, this is largely thanks to the magic which takes place when we see the packaging. This logo "DIACLONE", these illustrations in the lively colors and these well-kept drawings which managed to give life to convertible robots which would be partially taken back by Hasbro the following year to create the toy line "Transformers".

All these illustrations come from the mini-comic of 10 episodes "Duel sur Diaclona-City". Every box contained an episode where the toy was featured. Ahead of their time, that's the least you can say of brothers Paul and Gaëtan.

But then why were episodes two and three never found? As often, the answer is in the simplicity. These two episodes feature all the toys sold on blister packs. The size of the mini-comics, even folded in two does not allow them to be inserted under the bubble of the blister pack! Amazing! A reason so simple! We indeed had a great deal of difficulty in believing that at the time, the persons in charge of the Joustra company did not think of that! It is nevertheless the case …

Paul and Gaëtan BRIZZI are delighted to be able to, through this site, share a part of their work from the 80s with their fans.

The first mission with which this site had launched, to collect together all the episodes of "Duel sur Diaclona-City" is thus achieved successfully!

There remains one more mission: to discover the last five specimens of the second wave of toys produced in 1985 by Joustra, still never seen to this day. The mission is more tenuous because everything is based here on fate and luck. It is necessary to wait patiently so that through the possibility of an unexpected announcement, a chance of secondhand trade, a contact, we finally see one of these rarities!

This site was completely redone. There is for example now a page dedicated to exchanges. It will be, as the first version, updated as soon as we have the opportunity.

Enjoy!
